    If you can (I certainly cannot) CPUs are VERY popular.

    Also popular:
    New discoveries/technologies.

    However new technologies are mostly coming out after patches, so you gotta hurry with those.

    Then there are "real" inventions. I remember someone making a true wireless transmitter without wifi. It was primitive but it worked.
