And how is eternal fire useful?

Well if you want to keep fire burning forever... The life function only extends the amount of time the fire will last, meaning you have to keep using console. And feeding with clones spawns the fuel all around the clone, so the fire spreads around the clone changing the clone to spawning fire.... Which also dies out... so the purpose is still defeated. Plus it sucks trying to control the amount of fire. Think of the things you could do with eternal fire! For example fire places! HELLISH LANDSCAPES!

Why doesn't CLNE(FIRE) not achieve eternal fire considering it produces FIRE forever?

Uh.... Its called its One pixel of fire the hellstone would be keeping alive forever. Clones produce lots of fire.

    *start reanimation*

You can control amount of FIRE from clone if you put some blocks around it.

    X _ X

    X 0 X

    _ X _

    X - block

    _ - empty space

    0 - clone

This will slightly reduce amount of fire from clone.

Still.. The block would keep the same pixel of fire alive forever, unless you extinguish the fire.

So, what liquid Hellstone does? Does it have special properties?
