How to use DLAY

I'm trying to use the DLAY to open and close (as well as close and open) an E-wall. Now this may seem kinda silly to need help on but for some reason, the DLAY won't work sometimes. It'll just absorb the spark and then go dim and not do anything. I'm not entirely sure why this happens but I've even copied the working one and then it still won't work. Like I said, kinda weak and kinda dumb but how do I use DLAY effectively?

    Fell free to use wiki.
Ok its very simple to use delay or call it dlay
First place one pixel of pscn then adjacent to it add 1 pixel of dlay now add nscn next to dlay but make sure there is atleast 2 pixels gap between pscn and nscn otherwise pscn will directly transfer spark (or sprk) to nscn.so the structure is like this
    Pscn-dlay--nscn.
Note:temp affects the delay of sprk from pscn to nscn so higher the temperature higher is delay of sprk.
If you want i can prepare a demonstration save for you.

When DLAY is sparked by PSCN, its life value increases, depending on its temperature. So let's say you have a DLAY with temperature 35 C. When sparked by PSCN, its life increases to 35. Every frame, its life decreases by 1. When its life is non-zero and a spark is provided to the DLAY, the spark can't pass through. So you have to wait until its life decreases to 0 and then spark it again. You could constantly supply sparks to the DLAY with BTRY.
