    The PROP tool show allow the ability to edit a life of a ctype element would open up more opportunities to allow more in depth creations. This would alow the user to make more types of lasers, pstn bombs, electionics and so on.

    This addition would be extremely useful in alot of creations I build and I assume the same for others. Easily accessible with PROP tool, affects transfer to a stamp if you stamp it, and allow others to use this. I would LOVE this ability because it makes TPT more creative and less restricted with peoples ideas to create machines. ALSO the ability to edit the temp, tmp, tmp2 of a ctype with prop tool. And I can't stress this enough this ability for prop tool would be so dang useful.

    In my case I need to edit the CRAY's ctype WARP, the WARP has a too high of life and stays on the screen too long, normaly warp doesn't last long but it seems when it displaces pixles it gains life, and I need the ability to set a fixed life that makes it not gain any life.

    A particle's ctype isn't a particle in Powder Toy, just a particle type. You can't change a "ctype's life" because it simply doesn't exist.

    In the case of CRAY specifically, though, there is a way to control the life of the particle it creates -- in the next version of Powder Toy (probably): https://github.com/simtr/The-Powder-Toy/issues/324.

    @deniz1004: I imagined this... :0

    I can imagine those people who would create something like this... SNOW(SING(DEST(DEUT [life:57765]))). This is impossible and would cause very nasty saves and also many lags. ;_;

    Really, just think about this monster:

    LAVA(SNOW(SING[tmp:999999](BCLN[life:8665](DEUT[life:55832])))).

    And this is why ctype isn't a particle, just an int
