So. This is what I would like to see in the game.

Cloud;white, floats, slowly moves, and slowly drops WATR. In the gas section.

Limestone;Would be called LMST. Solid, but breaks apart into BRLM (Broken limestone, is a powder.) at 200 pressure.

Acidic water;Would be called ACWT. Slowly created when WATR is on LMST, Runs through limestone cracks, or when BRLM is in water. Slowly dissolves LMST, STNE, and QRTZ.

    Dirt;when wet, turns to mud.

Shale; would be named "Shle". A hardened form of mud. Solid, but will break at a pressure of 50 into "Brsh" (Broken shale, powder, when wet, it'll turn back to mud.)

    See #4 here: https://powdertoy.co.uk/Discussions/Thread/View.html?Thread=18901

This is a list of multiple unrelated elements. The reason we don't like these is because it often just looks like a boring list without much thought put into what else the elements can do, or detail about why the elements would be awesome to add to TPT.

Acidic water for instance, it slowly dissolves stone, quartz and limestone.

Limestone makes water acidic, stronger than stone, and allows water erosion to simulate sinkholes.

Mud slowly moves, hardens into shale allowing you to make BRCK when mixed with clay and wet.

Dirt is just needed. You can't have sand but not dirt. How else can PLNT grow in sand? Sand holds no nutrients, while soil does.

     ...and what are the uses?

Does Acidic Water react with other elements?

Yes. Sponge soaks it up, turns normal in regular water, makes PLNT grow brown, damages stickmen slightly, could turn into CAUS when boiled, when on sand, it acts like coal, it goes to the bottom, but slower.
