TPTMP version .8 is out now, update using the autorun manager (if you use that). If not, get it from the first post. The new version supports version 90.2 and replace mode, and also fixes the bug where brush size isn't sent to the server when you first join. It's also hosted on a new server now, the old one will just give you "Connection Refused". If you use my mod i'll update it later. You can also download the real script and run it, it will replace the one included in there.

The replace mode stuff Added a new packet (38), so you can't join the server unless you have version .8. Also whenever someone joins or ctrl+alt selects a replace mode element, it will set tpt.selectedreplace for all users. Not really a feature ... just how I got it to work.

Also note that there is no direct moderation (we can't see what you draw / make), but all the chat for any room is logged and can be read / replied to by us instantly.potatoes are watching

Version .82 out now, has a smaller default chat window size and has /size, also fixes legacy heat simulation being turned off constantly and supports CAPS LOCK.

Also the server is hosted on http://starcatcher.us (since .8), it has a webpage now that cracker64 made and does some fancy things.

When I tried to run TPTMP with the script manager, I get the same errors that Schneumer was getting:

    "cannot open scripts/c:/users...tptmulti.lua: Invalid argument"

I tried using the console to run it manualy, but it gave me this error message:

     scripts/tptmulti.lua:1: unexpected symbol near 'ï'

The "ï" actually looked like the thermometer symbol from the rendering options, but without the red.

Does anyone know what the problem is/ how to fix it?

where did you get it from? That sounds like a problem in your text editor, saving a byte-order mark (BOM). Maybe you can find a setting to turn UTF-8 BOM's off. Or just use something simple like notepad for this.

The script server isn't working at the moment, but TPTMP can be downloaded here: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/cracker64/tptmp/master/client.lua

Edit: the script server is back up, I recommend you just download it here: http://starcatcher.us/scripts/main.lua?get=2&dl=1 , or get it through the script manager.

Hm.  I'll look into it more tomorrow.

Edit: I tried redownloading the script manager and TPTMP, and it worked.  I don't exactly know WHY it worked, but I'm not complaining.

wrong sticked thread, go to the "script manager" one.

It's really simple, there's a Download link inside it, which gets you autorun.lua. You put it next to where TPT is located, then open TPT and click the "lua" button, and go into the online script list. It will be listed there.

Or you could just download the script you want without the script manager here and figure out how to run it: http://starcatcher.us/scripts/main.lua?get=31&dl=1
