What is happening with my TPT?

K, yesterday I opened TPT, and found out that it didn't load any of the previews from the fp saves, and when I tried to open one, it only let me read the comments until it said: HTTP Error 605: Request Timed Out and automatically closes the save. I thought that my network connection was broken, but It still didn't work even when I fixed the network stuff. so, thinking this of a bug, I turned my computer off and went to sleep. But the next day, (today) it STILL didn't work. I can post new saves, but I can't view any other's. HELP!

It's probably your internet or DNS still. I'm not too much help with that, but maybe it's being blocked by something.

can you access stuff like http://static.powdertoy.co.uk/1.cps ?

Try a hard reset of TPT. That, or delete the app and then re-downlaod it.

That won't help. TPT is a single .exe file, it won't get corrupted or broken in that way.

Deleting powder.pref can help in certain cases though, that is the settings file.

Nope, it says "Page is loading......" forever.

EDIT: Actually, no. after a few minutes it said: ERROR CONNECTION RECONNECTED, so I tried again, and this time something downloaded to my computer. but when I opened, it an error message came up saying: Error-there are no files attached to this file. Please make a connection. WUT???

Yeah, that's definitely some kind of network issue then. That server is used to host save files. It would explain why you can still post saves (which goes to powdertoy.co.uk), but not view saves (which uses static.powdertoy.co.uk).

This might be a better url to test on, it's just a text file that should view in your browser: http://static.powdertoy.co.uk/1.info

In that case I don't know. It sounds like it isn't blocked. Weird internet issues like this can be hard to debug ...
