Try deleting powder.pref. It's probably a bug I already fixed for the next version. To find powder.pref, go into normal TPT, go into options, and click "open data folder".

You might just be able to go into normal TPT and press '4' to fix it.

The first option worked, just hitting '4' did nothing.

Hey, I found a bug.  After I customised my profile further, I couldn't launch the mod anymore.  When I click on it, my mouse shows that something is loading, but nothing will happen.

If I run as an administrator, absolutely nothing will happen.

If I save the .zip file to my desktop and run it from there, it works, but all of my data is deleted when I close.

    Hope you reply soon,

    Spongie

Can you send me your powder.pref file?

Go to settings and hit "open data folder". Windows explorer should open to the location of powder.pref. Open it in notepad (or something else), and remove the "User" section at the top. Then post it to http://pastebin.com/ or https://bpaste.net/ (or any pastebin site).

It's also very likely I already fixed this bug.

Version 35.1 with the fix and other changes will be coming out today or tomorrow. It would have been yesterday, but at the last minute I noticed a bug where TPTMP and the script manager weren't being embedded into the windows version. This is because i'm switching to the MSVC compiler. I'll have to find a better way to embed the scripts.

    Version 35.2 Released!

    Version 35.1 3/5/17
Fix crash when editing profile. Fix certain render modes always being forced on at startup. Fix crash when loading certain invalid powder.prefs. Redo ctrl+z, it now can restore all simulation state (including signs). Add ctrl+y shortcut, you can now undo/redo up to 5 times, and edit powder.pref to increase this limit up to 200. Move checkboxes to the right side of render UI. Fix "delete" icon in sign UI. Fix PROP tool resetting to delete every time you select an element. Update internal script manager to 3.9. Fix potential crash when creating BALL. Fixes from tpt++, including lag fix when leaving certain saves open for 20+ minutes. Massive speed boost for the windows version, which now uses the MSVC compiler.

    Version 35.2 3/5/17
Fix crash when brush x radius is 0

The biggest thing here is the switch to using MSVC (Visual Studio's compiler). This gives about a 10-20% increase in fps, and a 40% decrease in the size of the exe. The main reason it is so better isn't because it's that much better, but because the Linux cross compiler I was using was so bad. Switching compilers will make this, and also normal tpt much faster once I update that too.

The multiple undoes and redoes is also nice. I may have said before I would never do that but ... looks like I did :). Actually you can thank @mark2222 for doing this in the TPT snapshots. ctrl+z also backs up more stuff now, including signs and more air-related things, also moving solids and other internal element state variables. That is a nice rewrite I should have done a long time ago.

Also thank @jeffluo35 for reporting the bug where the game becomes extremely laggy if you leave it sitting for a long time. The exact cause for this was the air sim, and some super weird stuff with how floating point / certain CPUs work. It only happened if you created some air, then let the air slowly fade away for 20 minutes. Even then it only worked on some computers. jeffluo35 was the first to give me a save that replicated the problem.

I think the LAVA(GOLD) + EXOT --> LAVA(VIBR) reaction is broken in your mod, e.g. id:1708166 the molten gold isn't converted, and solidifies instead. TTAN still seems to work though. Both work in normal version 91.5.

i think you should add a "special" save thing and it would have saves made in the mod

like if i made a save that had like BALL or ANIM in it it would be put in the special save section

also make it so you can "embed" code in a save and upload it

like you embed this code in a save and upload it and it would be put in special saves AND when you run the save it will run the lua code

Thanks, I've fixed that for the next version. It must have been broken for over 4 years ...

Unfortunately I can't really do that without server side changes. And you can already embed lua code in saves in my mod, go into the favorites menu, click "MORE" then click "LUA". It embeds the code in luacode.txt into the save

What is "-nan(ind)" ? When I'm using realistic heat mode, temperature sometimes sets itself to it. I'm not sure but I think it happens when particles are moving.
