Is there any way of hiding the thing that says that a new version of the powder toy is available because when you are on a mod it is quite annoying

yeah, turning the internet off seems like the best way of doing it, I was just checking there wasn't some obvious way of turning it off that I hadn't worked out

The way I would do it is: open TPT with the internet on, then save the save as a stamp, then close it and turn the internet off, then open TPT again and open the stamp.

In my mod I edited the version to '97.X' so it won't come up until we get to version 98.0...

If you have a mod, you can turn off the update message by commenting out these lines in main.c:

#ifdef BETA
	http_ver_check = http_async_req_start(NULL, "http://" SERVER "/Update.api?Action=CheckVersion", NULL, 0, 0);
#else
	http_ver_check = http_async_req_start(NULL, "http://" SERVER "/Update.api?Action=CheckVersion", NULL, 0, 0);
#endif

And adding this just after them:
http_ver_check = NULL;
