    Not really. Because it could be an honest mistake. Being banned for being nooby is harsh, but if they know the rules, and post nooby suggestion, they should be banned under the reason of spam. Maybe a limit on the amount of element threads you can make per month would be helpful?

    people would just skip over them, lie the terms of service stuff (does ANYONE here ever read that stuff?)

    Like is said before, the welcome message would be a good idea. # warnings is way more than some forums give you. They don't have to be permabanned. it would be a 24 hour ban for the 4th violation, 1 week ban for the 5th and a permaban for the last. That should be plenty of warnings. If they don't get it after the 5th violation, they shouldn't be in this forum in my opinion. But of course if you didn't do a violation for over a month, it wouldn't apply to you. This would involve the people that do it several times a month.
