Maybe i'm too German and overengineer things. :-p

But, what's the problem? You don't need more coal. It's enough to maintain a constant fire to heat the boiler.
-
no, the coal pipe is too slow. it burns down faster than it can fill.
-
??!? No problems here. Ok if you keep all 3 pumps ON all the time, the boiler will cool down too much, but by switching pumps on and off i can keep the boiler at about 250deg-C and 85press.... so works fine.

HapyMetal: too slow?
-
EpsilonStudios: ??? What's wrong with it?
-
Pretty nice!

coal adding system to the burner isn't reliable, but good if you exclude that
-
Wow, HapyMetal. This is good, and I said wow about what you said AND how good this is.

NuclearPerson: I AM from the past. :-p Seriously, i've grown up in a region called the 'ruhrgebiet' where coal was widly used. The air was that dirty from it, when you put on a white shirt in the morning, you had a grey one at the evening.
