    well what i think will happen is the giant gas ball pulled into slight oval shape before impact and the gasses will fly away from the impact leaving a solid ball of metallic liquid gases which behaves and looks like metal.During the collision some substances will sublimate and burst into the void. And the heat will cause the super conducting helium to ionize and creates plasma sea like in the picture. Helluva scene!

    Which is a failed star. Brown Dwarf = Failed Star. Perhaps it would, although if given anough mass! it would be a star. Then the solar system would be a binary star system. Possibly life wouldn't exist.

    NUCLEAR_FOX Most of the gas would fly away, due to the inpact's, it would most likely create a hot brown dwarf for a short while.
