    Well the husks can add mass to themselves, but these husks seem fairly pure. I would estimate them to be around 7 feet, making the worm around 31 feet tall (not counting whats below the hole :) )

    Reminds me f the flood @AndRaxiusAndScruffy, perhaps in the universe humans started to explore the galaxie and found them, and now there at war?? Just an idea.
