A binary system with a black hole and a star, when the black hole eclipses the star, the light bends towards the planet, increasing the brightness of the star so much that the temperatures on the planet go from 140 to almost 2400 during the eclipse.

Nice save, Though it would be interesting if there where a similar thing, but the black hole is on the other side of the planet, then the stars light gets beant to light up the dark side of the planet, that would be cool

One is a star, one is a black hole. Definitions of things in space are a bit wierd, so I think this fits the definition of a binary system.

Binary means two, a binary system is two stars/large objects and binary code is two digits: 0 and 1.
